Our Group has created an e-commerce website called “Watch Signal,” where we sell a wide range of Watches. Three types of watches are sold on our website: Analog, Digital, and Smart. Each product type has around three products that the user/ customer can purchase.

The customer/user can create an account on our website by registering themselves by entering their details. The user must first log in to add or store their chosen/selected products to the cart. At the cart, when the customer checks out, a confirmation message displays stating that “Your order has been confirmed.”, and recommended products based on their previous purchases will be visible on the home page.

The Website is built using HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, and PHP. The website consists of a header that contains the navbar that includes links to all the pages of the website- Home, Login, Account, and Cart along with a search engine and categories headers- Analog, Digital, Smart. A footer at the bottom of the pages contains contact information and a link to CMS.

HTML and CSS were used for website building and designing. JavaScript was used to make the website responsive. PHP was used for the navigation bar and footer between all pages for server-side scripting. MongoDB, a NoSQL database program, creates databases needed to store the products, orders, etc.
